Russia Migration Cards
Last updated 26.04.10
Before being allowed to enter Russia you will be required to fill out a migration card. There are 2 identical parts to be completed. One half will be kept upon arrival in Russia, the other half you should hand in upon departure.
During your stay in Russia you should keep the second half of your migration card in your passport at all times. In the unlikely event you are stopped by police you will be required to show your migration card, along with your passport and your hotel card.
Should you lose the second part of your migration card, your departure from Russia may be delayed and you may have to pay a fine.
Helpful notes on filling out the card
Most of the questions are straightforward, but there are one or two which require some clarification.
- Patronymic – please ignore
- Visa number – this is the number on your visa which begins with Cyrillic letters, also known as “Visa ID"
- Name of host person or company, locality – here you should write “Unicorn Moscow 000249”. This is the name of our partners in Russia and their official tour agent reference number.
- Duration of stay – should match the dates on your visa
*Important: both parts of the card must be completed identically*
